Gaddar's last rites concluded with state honors at Mahobodhi Vidyalaya, Alwal. Gaddar's last rites were performed by his eldest son Surya. Mahabodhi Vidyalaya was established by Gaddare. On the occasion of Gaddar's funeral, his wife Vimala, son Surya and daughter Vennela Boru mourned. Mahabodhi Vidyalaya became crowded in the background of Gaddar's last rites. Political leaders, intellectuals, poets and artists flocked to the last rites.
Popular singer Gaddar (74) passed away on Sunday. He breathed his last on Sunday afternoon at Apollo Spectra Hospital in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, who was suffering from illness for some time. Gaddar, who was admitted to the hospital for a heart attack a few days ago, underwent a bypass surgery on the 3rd of this month and the doctors announced that he is recovering. Gaddar's health deteriorated further on Sunday, suffering from lung and urinary problems. Doctors declared him dead at 3 pm.
Chief Minister KCR paid tributes to the mortal remains of popular singer Gaddar. KCR reached Gaddar's residence in Alwal on Monday evening. Later, the CM paid tributes to Gaddar's body and consoled his family members. Along with the CM, Ministers Harish Rao, Thalasani Srinivas Yadav, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Planning Commission Vice President Vinod Kumar, MLAs Balka Suman, Rasmai Balakishan, Chanti Kranti Kiran, Mainampally Hanmanth Rao, MLC Goreti Venkanna, BRS leaders were present. Motkupalli nurses paid their respects.
